Dear All,
We are delighted to let you know that an Introduction to Siddha Yoga Meditation will be held on Thursday, October 17th at Balance Arts Center, 151 W. 30th Street. Please take the elevator to the 6th floor.
Meditation is one of the core spiritual practices on the Siddha Yoga path. Meditation brings out the joyful and positive qualities of the mind. Siddha Yoga meditation also puts us in touch with the very core of who we are.
This event, especially designed for those new to meditation, will introduce you to the practice of Siddha Yoga meditation. You will be guided through each aspect of Siddha Yoga meditation, including posture, breath, and mantra. After the event, there will be refreshments and an opportunity to speak with experienced meditators if you have any questions.
Whether you are learning about meditation for the first time or you have an existing practice, this introductory event will help you establish or strengthen your regular meditation practice.
We encourage you to invite any of your friends, family members, and colleagues who would be interested in exploring the benefits of Siddha Yoga meditation.
Center opens for setup at 5:30 pm
Newcomer Orientation at 6:45 pm
Satsang from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Post-satsang clean-up 8:30-9:00 pm
